Aurah Living was founded by Amber Aqil in 2024 — a studio born from a love of heritage craft and a conviction that the most beautiful homes tell stories.

Based in Virginia, United States, Amber leads a small collective of artists, designers, and makers working across three disciplines: Art, Home, and Fashion. What began as a deep fascination with the architectural poetry of the Mughal, Indo-Islamic, and Silk-Route worlds has grown into a living design language — one that draws from jharokhas, pietra dura florals, geometric tilework, and the quiet light of courtyards, and brings that language into modern interiors and wardrobes.

Her work blends traditional craftsmanship with considered use of digital tools and artificial intelligence, letting centuries-old motifs breathe in contemporary forms. The goal is simple: to make culturally rich, museum-quality design accessible to homes and lives around the world.
