The emperor Jahangir at the climactic moment of a lion hunt — mounted on his horse, drawing his bow against a charging lion in a rocky landscape, his huntsmen and attendants ranged at the edges. A signature Jahangir-period subject combining imperial valor with the close natural observation that defined the emperor's atelier.

An early-seventeenth-century Mughal court painting, ca. 1615. Restored from the museum archives by Aurah Living.

Printed on premium matte paper, finished within a slim wooden frame with cream mat. Available in Black, Red Oak, and White frames.
