Jali — Indigo Lattice Wide-Leg Trousers

Mughal architects carved whole walls into lace. The jali, a pierced stone screen of interlocking stars and bars, let light and air move through a palace while keeping its rooms private.

We drew that lattice in denim blue on deep navy, tone on tone, so it reads as texture from across a room and reveals its geometry up close.

The most understated piece in the collection, and the easiest to wear every day.

• All-over print: the design is printed onto the cotton, then cut and sewn, so the pattern runs from waistband to hem
• 95% cotton, 5% elastane, 8.85 oz./yd.² (300 g/m²): a heavyweight cotton with a little stretch and a medium-soft feel
• Relaxed wide leg with an elastic, adjustable waistband and side pockets
• Unisex sizing, 2XS–6XL

Care

• Wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle; do not bleach
• Tumble dry low or hang dry; do not iron directly on the print
• Printed cotton has a soft matte finish, so colours read slightly more muted than on screen
