Bahram Gur in the Black Pavilion — Restored Mughal Wall Art

A jewel-toned vision from the poetic romance of Bahram Gur, the legendary Sasanian king who wandered through seven colored pavilions. Here, beneath an ornate dome alive with azure and gold, the royal court gathers in resplendent assembly. Musicians and attendants surround the enthroned figure, while elegant Persian verses frame the scene in flowing nastaliq script. Every detail—from the polychrome tilework to the sumptuous textiles—evokes the splendor of courtly life immortalized through the miniaturist's meticulous brush.

Each painting in our restored collection is meticulously restored by Aurah Living — color-corrected, refined detail by detail, and prepared at archival print quality. The folio's painted inset, decorative hashiya, and original cream paper margins are all preserved in the print.
