Hashiya Stripe Table Runner — Saffron

Borrowed from the layered borders of Mughal manuscripts, this runner stacks bands of ornament along its length: saffron, a bottle-green vine scroll, ivory beds of tulips, irises and poppies, and crimson rows of tiny flowering plants. Each stripe is a border in its own right, the way a hashiya frames a painting.

Bright and celebratory, it lifts a plain table instantly and sits happily under brass, candles and seasonal fruit.
