About the piece Scroll ↓

A single purple iris rises between two red poppies on an ivory page, with small rose sprigs in each corner and a fine crimson rule as the frame. It is drawn from the flower studies of the Mughal albums, where painters at Jahangir's court recorded each plant with a naturalist's eye.

Each place setting becomes a small album page, with the iris and poppies peeking out around the plate.
