An album folio from the imperial Shah Jahan Album: the emperor Jahangir in intimate conversation with his powerful vizier I'timad al-Daula — father-in-law of the emperor through Nur Jahan, finance minister, and the man who effectively governed the empire at the height of Jahangir's reign. The figures are inset into an elaborately illuminated folio of gold floral arabesques.

An early-seventeenth-century Mughal album folio. Restored from the museum archives by Aurah Living.

Printed on premium matte paper, finished within a slim wooden frame with cream mat. Available in Black, Red Oak, and White frames.
