Pietra Dura Shower Curtain — Black Marble

A lapis-blue iris rises between two carnelian tulips, set into black marble and framed by a band of golden stone and a border of small inlaid flowers. The design is drawn from pietra dura, the inlay of polished semi-precious stones into marble that Mughal workshops brought to its height under Shah Jahan, most famously at the Taj Mahal.

Jewel-bright at the centre and deep black around it, it is the shower companion to our Pietra Dura window curtain.
