Hashiya — Flower Border Wide-Leg Trousers

Every page of a Mughal album was framed by a hashiya, a wide border painted with flowering plants: poppies, irises and tulips standing in a row between gold rules.

We turned that border into a statement. An ivory panel of poppies, irises and tulips runs down the outer side of each navy leg from waistband to hem, edged in gold, while the front and back stay clean navy.

The boldest piece in the collection. Wear it with something simple.

Details

• All-over print: the design is printed onto the cotton, then cut and sewn, so the pattern runs from waistband to hem
• 95% cotton, 5% elastane, 8.85 oz./yd.² (300 g/m²): a heavyweight cotton with a little stretch and a medium-soft feel
• Relaxed wide leg with an elastic, adjustable waistband and side pockets
• Unisex sizing, 2XS–6XL
• Made to order; blank product components sourced from Mexico

Care

• Wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle; do not bleach
• Tumble dry low or hang dry; do not iron directly on the print
• Printed cotton has a soft matte finish, so colours read slightly more muted than on screen
